Seoul Japanese School was founded by Seoul Japan Club(SJC) in 1972, purporting to educate Japanese children around Seoul. The school started with only 32 students in the beginning, but now approximately 400 students are registered in this school. In principle, applicants must have Japanese Nationality and must have an intention to go back to Japan for good, after a certain period of studying. This school provides the lawful and ethical educational practices, recognized by Japanese Ministry of Education. The curriculums are equivalent to schools for the same ages in Japan. The graduates of this school may not be allowed to enter any higher educational facilities that are fully recognized by South Korean Government within Korea.
